Edward Snowden: I Have No Regrets

After meeting with representatives from human rights organizations at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport on Friday, NSA leaker Edward Snowden released a statement through WikiLeaks

In the lengthy statement, Snowden confirmed that he is accepting all asylum offers. He confirmed that he is staying in Russia initially and then traveling to Latin America. Snowden also got personal and spoke about his decision to leak the trove of top-secret documents that revealed far-reaching NSA surveillance programs.

"That moral decision to tell the public about spying that affects all of us has been costly, but it was the right thing to do and I have no regrets," he wrote.
