'Leisure Suit Larry' Reboot: Still Sleazy, Still Fun

Remakes of beloved video games aren’t as common as movie or TV show reboots — especially when it comes to adventure games. But thanks to Kickstarter, fans of Sierra On-Line adventure games from the seminal '80s and '90s can expect quite a few new games over the next year or two.

The first of the bunch? A remake of the original Leisure Suit Larry game, a soft-core adult adventure game once remade from an EGA 1987 original to a VGA edition, in 1991.

Unfamiliar with the franchise? Players star as Larry Laffer, an over-40 virgin looking for sex, and eventually love. He only goes after the best-looking girls by using the worst lines (which even the narrator makes fun of), all while wearing a white leisure suit and a gold chain. Classy.
