Obama Administration Collected Americans' Email Records for 2 Years

A secret National Security Administration program collecting bulk Internet metadata that began under President George W. Bush continued two years into President Barack Obama's tenure, according to a report.

The news comes by way of The Guardian, which has been for weeks exposing NSA surveillance programs based on leaked material from former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.
