Demonstrators Turkey's government for weeks in cities across the country, sparked by police brutality against citizens angry over plans to destroy an Istanbul park. Hundreds of thousands of protestors took to the streets in cities across Turkey as the demonstrations evolved into a larger anti-government movement.

The protests have been well-documented by photojournalists and videojournalists from the ground — but now we've got an amazing bird's eye view of the demonstrations.

Vimeo user Jenk K, who identifies himself on Twitter as a "Sky Pilot," has been posting some truly incredible aerial footage of Turkey's protests from a radio-controlled, camera-equipped aircraft. Jenk said one of his aircrafts was shot down by rubber bullets from police almost a week ago, but he's still uploading new footage
