Google to U.S. Government: Let Us Release More Surveillance Data

After last week's reports that Internet companies are allegedly collaborating with the National Security Agency (NSA) and letting it wiretap foreign users' communications, Google is taking a step forward

On Tuesday, the search giant sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder and FBI Director Robert Mueller, requesting permission to publish more data on government requests.

The letter, which was published on Google's official blog, specifically refers to requests stemming from the controversial Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)This is the law that allows the NSA to access Internet companies' data through the PRISM program
