Reddit user Unidan rapidly rose to celebrity status on the network, after charming dozens of science lovers in a thread about unbelievable facts Wednesday.

"Biologist here!" is how he starts most of his comments, and then proceeds to share some amazing tidbits about the Amazon rain forests, ornithology and other ecological topics. Redditors on the thread were fairly unanimous in their praise.
