SchadenFreezers: Depressing Jokes in Orange, Grape and Cherry Flavors

Schadenfreude: The satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else's misfortune. It's a pretty narcissistic point of view — but it's not as bad if the misfortunes are fictional, right?

Matt Moore and Jason Krehr, from Portland-based advertising agency Wieden Kennedy, put together SchadenFreezers that's stocked full of sad, well-now-my-day's-ruined jokes. The best part? They're in the form of melting popsicle GIFs, so as the ice disappears, the sadness unveils itself. Maybe there's a metaphor in there somewhere.

"It started about a year ago. I had a bunch of horrible jokes that I thought were so funny — like, popsicle stick-style," Krehr told Mashable. "Matt used to call them Scadenfreuders.
