PlayStation 4 Controller Will Track Your Movements

The forthcoming PlayStation 4 can track players' positions in a room, using the light bars on the system's new controller, according to a video Sony released Thursday morning.

The video focuses on the new features on the DualShock 4 controller, which is the only part of the PlayStation 4 Sony has revealed. The company has added several features to improve the controller.

The video doesn't tread much new ground from the Sony announcement in February, but the most interesting tidbit is the the controller will be able to tell the console to adjust content based on your position in the room. The example given was that during a split-screen multiplayer game, if two players switch places, the PS4 can switch the sections of split screen to make them easier to see. Read more...
