James Van Der Beek Spoofs 'The Bachelorette' for HTC One

It's a familiar scenario: A young woman is torn between several suitors all under the glare of millions of viewers. Except this time the suitors are actually phones and there aren't millions of viewers — yet, at least.

HTC launched its much-awaited One phone on Friday with this Funny or Die-created witty send-up of The Bachelorette featuring Dawson's Creek alum James Van Der Beek. Hilarity ensues as the phones attempt to woo her with song ("Are those your speakers or are you sick?" she asks) and pathos ("I didn't have a father growing up, or a mother and I can't have kids," one confesses.
