Xbox Creative Director Who Told Fans 'Deal With It' Departs

The Xbox creative director who told fans upset about the potential always-online functionality of Microsoft's upcoming console to "deal with it" has departed the company.

According to Polygon, Adam Orth has departed Microsoft willingly after he made several comments on Twitter

"Sorry, I don't get the drama around having an 'always on' console. Every device is now 'always on.' That's the world we live in," Orth tweeted last Thursday. He then followed that with a picture of President Obama shrugging captioned "deal with it."

When Orth's friend Manveer Heir engaged him, asking him what would happen to people who didn't have reliable internet connection, like residents of Blacksburg, Va., or Janesville, Wisc., he replied "Why on Earth would I live there?"
