ICANN Says It Will Allow Chinese Top-Level Domain Names This Year, Followed By Other Languages
The president of ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) Fady Chehade told the Wall Street Journal that the organization will launch Chinese character options for top-level domains in the second half of this year.
