Twitter Co-Founder Biz Stone May Launch New Mobile Startup

Biz Stone, one of Twitter's three co-founders, is planning to launch another startup soon called Jelly, according to a new report.

Kara Swisher at AllThingsD reports hearing from multiple people that Stone has hired nearly half a dozen employees to work on what one source describes as a "native mobile" project. The startup is said to be close to launching, though there is no timetable given in the report.

Stone left Twitter in mid-2011 to work with the social network's co-founder Ev Williams on a startup incubator called the Obvious Corporation, which has since launched several notable startups, including Medium and Branch. Read more...
