Google Glass Applicant Who Would 'Throw It at Your Face' Is Disqualified

Did Google actually read the ideas people submitted for its Project Glass contest? From two of the applications that Google has now disqualified, it doesn't look like it.

Google decided to rescind some of its selections for winners in its #ifihadglass contest, which asked interested developers to share their ideas via Twitter or Google+ in 140-character snippets. Apparently, a few of the applicants' ideas didn't comply with Google's terms. Here's what Google wrote on the Project Glass Google+ page:

With #ifihadglass we set out to find a truly diverse group of Explorers, and that’s certainly what we’ve gotten. We need honest feedback from people who are not only enthralled and excited by Glass, but also people who are skeptical and critical of it. That said, it’s become clear that a few applications that don’t comply with our terms have slipped through the cracks, and we’re going to have to disqualify applications like these.
