Here's Why Your SnapChat Photos Aren't Private
Snapchat, the self-deleting photo app, is a huge hit among teenagers. Kids who have grown up tweeting, liking and sharing just about everything they do on the Internet, love the way Snapchat makes it fast, fun and a little private
The issue is, just like anything else you do online, privacy is not guaranteed
To share photos with friends, Snapchat users can take a picture using their phone, add text if they want, and then set how long — between one and 10 seconds — they want their friend to be able to view it before it disappears from both phones. Sounds easy and private, right?
Not so. The recipient can take a screenshot or can simply use another smartphone or camera to capture a screenshot of the image
