Google Uses SXSW To Share More About Glass

Glass

AUSTIN — Google used SXSW this week to share a little more information about Glass. During an event catered specifically to developers, the company revealed more details about Glass’ Mirror API, and showed off several apps that have already been developed for Glass, including products from Gmail, the New York Times, Path and Evernote.

“It feels like tech is often getting in the way more than it needs to," Timothy Jordan, Google’s senior developer advocate, said on stage during the event. “That’s what we’re addressing with Project Glass”

While the company showed off some functioning apps, Jordan was quick to point out that Google isn’t finished with the project, and what we see now might not be what we see a few months from now.
