Google Gives Eric Schmidt a $6 Million Cash Bonus

Eric-schmidt

It's good to be Eric Schmidt.

The Google executive chairman and former CEO has been traveling around the world for Google events and diplomatic missions, occasionally trash-talking competitors (politely, of course) and dancing Gangnam Style. Now he's about to get a nice annual bonus for his work at Google.

Google revealed in an SEC filing late Tuesday that Schmidt will receive a $6 million cash bonus on Friday for 2012. As usual, the company's two co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page will not be getting a bonus, but other Google execs will be including CFO Patrick Pichette, who will receive a $2.8 million bonus, and chief legal officer David Drummond, who will receive a $3.3 million bonus.
