Eric Koester is a serial entrepreneur and most recently the founder of Zaarly, a leading online marketplace to discover and work with talented local service providers. Zaarly was named one of the world's Fifty Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company in 2012, and since launching in May 2011 has facilitated millions of dollars in peer-to-peer transactions each month for its passionate community, including the tens of thousands of service providers in more than 200 cities across the U.S. The company went from idea to prototype to seed funding in the 54 hours of Startup Weekend. Since its founding, Zaarly raised money from investors such as Kleiner Perkins, Ashton Kutcher, Meg Whitman, SV Angel, Marc Ecko and others.
