Sprint's Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Gets Jelly Bean Update

Sprint users with a second-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab are in for a nice little treat today: The carrier said it will start rolling out an update to bring Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 software to the tablet

Sprint, which promises "stunning graphical capabilities" with the Android update, said it will be pushed wirelessly to Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 users in the next few weeks

Once the update is downloaded, users will gain access to several expanded features, including Google Now, which provides information on real-time data such as traffic and train times. Other new perks includes smoother transitions between home screen and apps — Sprint says it's like "turning pages of a book" — and notifications that can prompt actions directly from the notifications panel.
