It's right around the corner, and soon to be right in front of our eyes. Ready or not, Google Glass is coming.

Google Glass was again in the news, this past February, as the augmented-reality project ramped up toward a consumer-level rollout. Google launched its Explorer program at the end of last month, allowing select early adopters to try out the head-mounted, hands-free computing lens. Analysts following the arc of Glass's development expect a retail-ready model as early as this year.
