Hooters Ball Girl Accidentally Ruins Baseball Play

Here's a weekend sports highlight for you, and the kind of thing you'll (hopefully) only see in MLB spring training

It comes from Saturday's tune-up game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Philadelphia Phillies, in Clearwater, Fla., where everyone learned why having Hooters' waitresses as ball girls may not be such a great idea.

As you'll see in the video above, the young woman fields a fair ball hit down the third base line and tosses it to a child in the stands. She then realizes her mistake in glove-to-face shame

To be fair, it could have happened to anybody. And she does manage to make a pretty nice play on the ball while making a kid's day. Regardless, it makes for some funny stuff that's been viewed more than 200,000 times on YouTube since Saturday
