Services on code-sharing site GitHub have been interrupted for over an hour in what started as a "major service outage" because of a "brief DDoS attack." This is the second DDoS attack in as many days. Yesterday, GitHub also reported a DDoS incident. In October 2012, the service also went down due to malicious hackers.
