Apple Releases iOS 6.1.2 to Address Exchange and Battery Bugs


Apple has release iOS 6.1.2 to users, addressing some of the user bugs in January's 6.1 release.

The release notes for the update -- which clocks in at a svelte 12.8MB on my Verizon iPhone 5 -- are sparse, saying:

Fixes an Exchange calendar bug that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life.

Users started complaining about issues with iOS 6.1 soon after the update was released. iPhone 4S users were the most vocal about battery life issues, but the problem reportedly impacted different iPhone models.
