Ubuntu May Unveil Its Operating System on Tablets Soon

Ubuntu announced earlier this month that it would be bringing its Linux-based operating system to mobile phones later in 2013. Now, it looks like we might see the OS on tablets, as well.

A countdown clock has appeared on Ubuntus website, along with the message Tick, tock, tablet time!

Canonical the company behind the Ubuntu project recently announced that the Touch Developer Preview of Ubuntu will be available for the Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus 4 on Feb. 21. It will also be installing the OS onto developers phones at the Mobile World Congress, which takes place from Feb. 25 to 28.
