Trulia Beats Analysts With Record Q4 Revenue, But Posts Bigger-Than-Expected Net Loss
In its second earnings report as a public company, online real estate site Trulia saw both higher revenue and a bigger loss than analysts had estimated. The company saw revenue of $20.6 million and a net loss of $1.59 million for the quarter ending on December 31. That's a (non-GAAP) loss of 3 cents per share.Revenue is up 25 percent year-over-year, while the company's net loss loss has fallen from $2.5 million. In its previous earnings report, Trulia saw record revenue and had positive EBITDA (namely, it was profitable before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) for the first time.
