Flashy Christmas Tree Entertains With LED Lights Synced to Festive Music

While most other Christmas trees sit placidly in a corner, the evergreen decorated by Olivier St. Martin Cormier will blow your Santa hat off.

It features 404 LED lights synchronized to flash in time to festive music (in this instance, Mykola Leontovych's epic "Carol of the Bells"). Cormier controls the lights using an STM32 microcontroller, and connects them via Bluetooth to his computer, which manages the music.
