Cory Booker Announces Hes Exploring Senate Bid via YouTube

Cory Booker, mayor of Newark, N.J. and Internet superhero, announced in a YouTube video Thursday morning his plan to "explore the possibility of running for United States Senate in 2014."

"There's still a lot of work to do," says Booker in the video. "And so, let there be no doubt I will complete my full second term as mayor of Newark, New Jersey. And as for my political future, I will explore the possibility of running for the United States Senate in 2014."

A prolific Twitter user, Booker shared the video with his 1.3 million followers shortly after posting it to YouTube.
