By Pausing Its Low-Margin, Off-App Ad Network, Facebook Could Work On Porting Its Juicy Ad Exchange To Mobile

FBX MobileFacebook's on a quest to get its share price back above its IPO level. So it's pausing the test of its mobile ad network, which lives in other apps that it splits revenue with, and reapplying resources to its mobile feed ads. The ad network has potential but will take awhile to scale. Now Facebook must monetize its own real estate, and freed-up staff could bring its lucrative ad exchange to mobile.
