Watch President Obamas Speech at Vigil for Newtown Victims


U.S. President Barack Obama expressed his sadness in a speech at Sunday night's vigil for the victims of the tragic school shooting in Newtown, Conn.

During the nearly 20-minute long address, Obama commended the six adults who died in Friday's shooting for their heroism.

"Dawn Hochsprung, Mary Sherlach, Vicki Soto, Lauren Rousseau, Rachel Davino and Anne Marie Murphy. They responded as we all hope we might respond in such terrifying circumstances: with courage and with love, giving their lives to protect the children in their care."

The president also stated the names of the 20 young victims, aged 6 and 7.
