Groupon CEO Doesnt Want to Talk About Acquisition Rumor

Groupon CEO Andrew Mason doesnt want to talk about his company potentially being acquired, or whether he will continue to be in charge of it.

During an interview Tuesday at the Mobile-Loco conference in San Francisco, Mason repeatedly refused to answer questions about a recent rumor that Groupon might be acquired by Google.

We never have and never will comment on unsubstantiated rumors in the press, so theres nothing we can say about that, Mason said when asked whether Google was interested in possibly acquiring the company.
