Happy #GivingTuesday!

Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and now we're here, #GivingTuesday, a new holiday focused on giving back.

Mashable got involved in #GivingTuesday because we feel strongly that technology has the ability to solve global challenges and make this world a better place. We saw the potential here for a movement driven by communities on social media and are happy to share that since launch, weve seen that potential realized.

Since launching in September, you, the social media community, have turned #GivingTuesday into a powerful digital movement with over 2,500 partners in 50 states and over 1,000 social media ambassadors who are ready to engage their communities around giving.
