Twitter Restores @NYTOnIt Parody Account

Twitter has restored popular New York Times parody account @NYTOnIt after it was taken offline for about 12 hours beginning Tuesday night. The account was suspended after The Times filed a trademark complaint against its owner -- who is, incidentally, a law associate in New York -- Benjamin Kabak.

The account, beloved of media critics and Times readers alike, poked fun at Times trend stories that were painfully obvious or late to the game. Take this tweet from last December:
