Broadcast TV Comes to the iPhone and iPad

iPhones and iPads can perform wondrous feats with various media, but one thing they can't do is tune into live TV over the air. With the new EyeTV Mobile tuner, however, broadcast TV becomes just another app.

EyeTV Mobile, made by elgato, is a tiny accessory that plugs into the 30-pin dock connector on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Yep, it's the old one, not the Lightning, but it should work with newer iDevices via one of the available adapters. The tuner receives digital TV broadcasts made specifically for mobile devices, and you can view them with the Dyle mobile TV app.
