After weeks of controversy and criticism about the news feed, and reduction in reach for Pages, Facebook outlined the four main factors it uses to determine if a post shows up in the news feed. It also confirmed that most of the fluctuation Pages have seen in reach lis because it started penalizing Pages who received complaints, and the algorithm reduced complaints by a double digit percentage.
