Uber Says San Francisco Class Action Lawsuit Is Baseless

new uber interfaceEarlier today, Corte Madera-based attorney Gary Oswald filed a class action lawsuitagainst Uber. The suit arguesthat the startup's operations in San Francisco are illegal, because Uber is allegedly "acting as a taxicab company while sometimes denying this fact in order to avoid all regulations governing taxicab companies."In response, Uber just sent out a brief statement from its attorney John Quinn, stating that it "complies with all laws and regulations applicable to its business" and that it's willing to defend itself in court.
