Did Romneys Tech Fail Cost Him Key Votes?


In the days following an election, both sides take a look back and assess what went right and what went wrong. Mitt Romney's campaign is doing more of the latter -- and it turns out a major technology fail may have played a role in costing him the presidency.

Romney's team introduced a Get Out the Vote app, codenamed "Project ORCA," that was supposed to help volunteers record which voters had made it to the polls in real-time, helping turn data into an Election Day weapon. It was reportedly a Team Romney production, not a product of the GOP.

Scattered Election Day reports via Twitter, however, signaled something went very wrong:
