Twitter Sentiment for Obama, Romney Split in Swing States


As Election Day comes closer to an end, Twitter sentiment in swing states is split between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.

Barack Obama's leading Mitt Romney on the Twitter Political Index in Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, New Hampshire and Iowa. Romney's got the edge in New Mexico, Virginia, Colorado and Nevada. However, all 12 states are trending in Obama's favor, and he's got the lead in Twitter sentiment across the United States as a whole.

Obama's also been the most tweeted-about candidate in every swing state:
