ESPN, Dropbox and Lego Apps Coming to Windows 8


winstore-640REDMOND -- Some big names have just announced apps for Windows 8, including ESPN, Dropbox and Lego. ESPN's senior VP of mobile, Michael Bayle, appeared at Microsoft's Build developer conference to debut the channel's new app.

The ESPN app aggregates news in a horizontal scroll, incorporating photos, podcasts and content from the channel's magazine. Similar to Microsoft's own sports news app, ESPN will let users pin their favorite teams as live tiles, delivering notifications specific to that team.
