Empty NYC Is Fake For Now [VIDEO]


With New York City residents hunkering down in their homes to escape from Hurricane Sandy, the streets of Manhattan can seem pretty desolate.

Not, however, this desolate.

After two other successful street-emptying time lapses, filmed in Seattle and San Francisco, Thrash Lab and Ross Ching are back with their third installment of "Empty America."

This time, they wipe the bustling metropolis of New York City clear of inhabitants.

Iconic landmarks such as Wall Street, Central Park, Times Square, Penn Station, The Met and Fifth Avenue appear eerily, spookily empty.
