Apple to Launch Pandora Competitor in 2013? [REPORT]

Apple is on course to launch a Pandora-style customizable streaming radio service early next year, if a report from Bloomberg is accurate.

The report, which cites several sources who asked for anonymity, states that Apple has "intensified" negotiations with music companies over the service, with an eye to launching it in the first five months of 2013.

Executives from Vivendi Universal, Warner and Sony -- three of the big five music labels -- have apparently visited Apple's Cupertino HQ in recent weeks to learn more about the company's radio plan.
