Check Out This Keyboard Made of Beer Cans [VIDEO]

It sounds like something a computer science student might come up with in his dorm room: a keyboard made out of beer cans.

In reality, it's a sly marketing campaign for Staropramen, a beer from the Czech Republic. Marketers at the brand were looking for an innovative way to make a splash at Webstock in Bucharest in September. Mission accomplished.

Forty-four cans made up this keyboard, which was attached to an Arduino-powered touch-sensitive controller forming a keyboard. That in turn was connected to a plasma display via a Raspberry Pi. The brewer challenged users to enter their email address and win a contest to Pragu…
