Apple Announces Updated Mac Mini

Apple updated its Mac mini computer Tuesday, upgrading the desktop computer with new features and more under the hood.

The updated Mac mini has dual or quad-core i5 or i7 processor, with up to 16GB of RAM, Intel HD graphics 4000, Bluetooth 4.0 and either a 1TB HDD or 256GB SSD.

The base model for the computer starts at $599 for a 2.5Ghz dual-core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB HDD.

The updated Mac mini starts shipping today.

In addition to an updated Mac mini, Apple also announced a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro Tuesday and updated its iMac line.
