Reddit, Imgur and Airbnb Are Down

Reddit, Airbnb and Imgur were down Monday afternoon, thanks to an issue with Amazon Web Services.

Downtime is a a fairly rare occurrence for the Reddit, which receives some 35 million visitors per month.

Erik Martin, general manager at Reddit confirmed to Mashable that the downtime is "apparently due to an Amazon issue." Reddit appears to have gone down shortly before 2 p.m. EST, prompting some chatter on Twitter:
