The Pirate Bay Moves to the Cloud to Be Untouchable

File-sharing website The Pirate Bay has always sailed through stormy seas. Accused by the entertainment industry of facilitating access to copyrighted content, it has sustained several denial of service attacks, lawsuits, blockades and even a police raid in 2006.

In a new attempt to become untouchable, the site announced Tuesday that it has moved its servers to the cloud.

In a short blog post, The Pirate Bay's "Winston Brahma" (it's unclear whether that's a real name) announced the move.

"Slowly and steadily we are getting rid of our earthly form and ascending into the next stage, the cloud," Brahma wrote.
