NCAA Bans Instagram Filters for College Coaches [UPDATED]



Let's say you're a college coach desperate to land that superstar, program-changing recruit.

Let's say you want to send said recruit a Twitter DM with a photo of your school's cutting-edge practice facilities. That's cool.

Now let's say you want to slap a little Earlybird filter on that bad boy and evoke your school's timeless tradition via Instagram.

That's illegal.

This is according to a document the NCAA -- the governing body of college sports -- posted online Wednesday.
