NFL Star Breaks Silence on Facebook After Controversial Hit

NFL linebacker Brian Cushing took to Facebook Wednesday morning to break his silence after a controversial hit ended his season with a major knee injury.

Cushing, who plays for the Houston Texans, tore his left anterior cruciate ligament when New York Jets guard Matt Slauson dove into his legs from behind for a block. Many fans and media considered the block a cheap shot, and the NFL is reportedly reviewing the play for possible disciplinary action against Slauson.
