Microsoft Office App Coming to Android, iOS Next Year [REPORT]

Wish you could access Microsoft Office on your Android or iOS device? The wait is almost over: Microsoft is reportedly planning to release app versions of Office 2013 next year.

According to Czech site IHNED and a press release obtained by The Verge, Microsoft product manager Petr Bobek confirmed that native apps will be make its way on to Android and iOS as early as March 2013. Other platforms receiving Office 2013 include Windows Phone, Windows RT, Mac OSX and Symbian.

The move would give mobile users access to Word, Excel and PowerPoint via smartphone and tablet devices, and it could open up a new way for how consumers use mobile to do work on the go.
