RIM CEO: BlackBerry Has a Clear Shot at Number Three

When it comes to BlackBerry 10, RIM CEO Thorsten Heins has realistic goals. Speaking to a group of reporters after Tuesdays BlackBerry Jam keynote, Heins told that group that he thought Blackberry has a clear shot at being the number 3 mobile ecosystem in the world.

When asked why he wasnt shooting for the No. 1 spot, Heins responded by saying You climb the mountain step by step. The first thing we have to be is number three.

Im not thinking about BlackBerry being the No. 1 in smartphone. BlackBerry needs to be the No. 1 in mobile computing. Smartphones are an expression of mobile computing, he added.
