Apple Not Selling Lightning Adapters in Stores Yet

Although the iPhone 5 hit stores early this morning, those who waited in line were unable to purchase an adapter to go with the device's new Lightning connector.

Apple told Mashable that adapters -- which will allow users to connect the new charger to accessories that support the previous one -- aren't yet in stores, but should be rolled out "soon." No specifics were given on when they might be made available.
