Contour+2 HD Action Cam Hits Apple Stores


Contour+2, the latest hands-free video camera from Seattle-based Contour, Inc., hit retail stores Wednesday.

Priced at $399.99, the wearable high-definition, point-of-view camera is available on Contour's website, as well as at specialty stores such as Apple (North America, only), REI, B&H Photo Video and Eastern Mountain Sports.

Unveiled earlier this month, the Contour+2 lets users shoot 1080p HD video. The camera has a built-in accelerometer and GPS that tracks speed, elevation and distance, which it can attach to the video as rich data. Users can then share their adventures on Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube.
