BioWares Founders Announce Retirement to Non-Gaming Life
BioWare founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzkya both announced their retirement via posts online Tuesday afternoon.
Zeschuk and Muzkya were known as "the Doctors" of BioWare. They founded the company in 1995 after receiving their medical degrees at the University of Alberta. They are both credited with executive producing Baldur's Gate series, Mass Effect, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Shattered Steel, Jade Empire, and the Neverwinter Nights series.
The duo sold BioWare to Electronic Arts in 2008, and were moved to executive positions inside the company. Muzyka is Chief Group General Manager of BioWare and Senior Vice President of Electronic Arts; Zeschuk is General Manager…
